Aim: Recognize the scale and urgency of the problems caused by inequity in education. Participants will become an active threat to inequality in their schools Learning objectives - Understanding of symbolic violence as it pertains to education. - Be able to recognise potential indicators of abuse for children - Know what action to take if there is a safeguarding concern - Gain a person centred approach in child protection and safeguarding. - Recognise the importance of recording your concerns and the principles of good recording.
